Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Processing Laboratory, San Francisco

Under direction and in accordance with Federal, State, AABB, cGMPs, SOPPs, established policies, procedures, regulations and quality control standards performs all required tests on each unit of whole blood and component to ensure units of blood and components are safe for transfusion and product manufacture.  Performs other duties as assigned.

Collection Technician/Driver

Shasta Blood Center, Redding

Under direction and in accordance with Federal, State, AABB and BCP regulations, medical standards, policies, procedures SOPPs and cGMPs, conducts donor interviews, medical histories, venipuncture preparation, venipunctures, collections assistance procedures, prepares for, drives and transports personnel, blood, materials and equipment from one site to another as necessary and required;  sets-up and breaks down drives at collection sites, and performs other tasks as assigned.

Donor Collections Representative, R.N.

Donor Collections, San Francisco

Under direction and in accordance with Federal, State, AABB and BCP regulations, medical standards, policies, procedures, cGMPs and SOPPs, conducts and reviews donor histories, performs venipuncture preparatory procedures, performs routine and apheresis venipuncture procedures, accepts and defers donors, treats reactions and performs other tasks as assigned.

Donations Coordinator

Donor Recruitment, San Francisco

Under direction and in accordance with established policies, regulations, procedures, cGMPs and SOPPs is responsible for coordinating and
scheduling appointments for the apheresis program. Includes: appointment scheduling, record keeping, clerical tasks and other duties as assigned.

Donor Relations Specialist

Donor Recruitment, San Francisco

Under direction and in accordance with established policies, regulations, procedures, cGMPs and SOPPs recruits donors and assists with managing
donor flow at mobiles. Performs other duties as assigned.

Donor Technician/Driver

Donor Collections, San Francisco

Under direction and in accordance with Federal, State, AABB and BCP regulations, medical standards, policies, procedures SOPPs and cGMPs, conducts donor interviews, medical histories, venipuncture preparation, venipunctures, collections assistance procedures, prepares for, drives and transports personnel, blood, materials and equipment from one site to another as necessary and required;  sets-up and breaks down drives at collection sites, and performs other tasks as assigned.

Under general direction and in accordance with Federal, State, AABB, cGMP’s, SOPPs, established procedures and regulations, this position is responsible for daily supervision of the collection staff operations.  Performs all other duties as assigned.

Supervisor Mobile Operations

Donor Collections, San Francisco

Under general direction and in accordance with Federal, State, AABB, cGMP’s and BCP regulations, standards, policies and procedures, responsible for the daily supervision of vehicle, supply and transportation component(s) of mobile collection operations.
