Donating Marrow

The Blood Centers of the Pacific works hand in hand with the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) as a contracted donor center, helping to connect willing donors with patients in need. If you are in good health and between the ages of 18 and 60, you may be eligible to join the NMDP registry, where patients seeking a compatible donor begin their search.

For information about the National Marrow Donor Program and their registry please visit their website at www.marrow.org If after reviewing the information provided you decide that becoming a donor is a commitment you are willing to make, you may join the registry by contacting the Bone Marrow Department of BCP at 1-800-479-4611. There may be a registration fee.

For donors who live outside of Northern California, please call the National Marrow Donor Program at 1-800-MARROW-2 for the closest donor center near you.
