Types of Blood Donation

BCP offers many ways to support the community.

  • Donate Blood
    You can help up to three different patients with just one donation.
  • Donate Double Red Cells
    Donate two units of red cells at once.
  • Donate Platelets
    Give platelets through apheresis and help supply the blood component that is needed by more patients than any other.
  • Donate Plasma
    Give plasma through apheresis.
  • Hereditary Hemochromatosis Donation Program
    Hereditary Hemochromatosis (HH) is a genetic disease that results in iron overload. The preferred treatment for reducing iron stores is periodic phlebotomy.
  • Donation Centers
    You can give the gift of life at one of our local donation centers.
  • Schedule a Blood Drive
    Make a group effort to save lives with your business, church or community group.
